EGC provides a range of services proven to improve health outcomes for older people. These include undertaking comprehensive geriatric assessments and medication reviews, cognitive assessment, diagnosing and managing the behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD), as well as falls management and prevention strategies.

Our approach to health care delivery is underpinned by our desire to make life easier for people.

To reduce the burden of travel for our patients, our geriatricians work from several locations in greater Melbourne. We suggest patients choose rooms close to home, where feasible.

To accommodate the needs of Melbourne’s multicultural community we offer our services in a number of languages, other than English. Telehealth consultations are also available. We understand the difficulties that people living in Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs) experience attending offsite medical care. Hence, we take pleasure in being able to go further than most geriatric service providers by offering consultations directly to residents at their RACF.
